SINNERS, Eternal Fire, JiJieHao, and BC.Game are the only teams left standing at DraculaN Season 7 after a few grueling days of best-of-threes, with Wednesday's final games ending close to 02:00 local time.
FaZe, HEROIC, BASEMENT BOYS and Nexus played three back-to-back series as a result of getting dropped to the lower bracket, with FaZe left walking a tightrope for their Singapore Major qualification chances with matchups against Envy and HEROIC.
Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen and David "frozen" Čerňanský rose to the occasion to net FaZe wins in both series, requiring overtime to clinch the decider against Envy and all three maps to close out against HEROIC. Losses in either of those games would have left FaZe on the bubble for a Major invite, but instead the team secured valuable points that have given them some wiggle room.
Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken's men missed a chance to further cement their place on Thursday after suffering elimination at the hands of BC.Game, who have clinched their own Major invite through Asia. FaZe will now turn their attention to RLG Tesla Cup, where a top-three finish would likely be enough to secure their Major berth.
The upper bracket saw SINNERS follow up their victory over HEROIC by beating JiJieHao to reach the upper final, while Eternal Fire beat BASEMENT BOYS and BC.Game to cling on to an extremely slim chance of qualifying for the Major.
Nexus eliminated both SAW and BASEMENT BOYS on Wednesday, but had their own run put to an end by JiJieHao, who is now taking on BC.Game in the lower bracket final.
