TYLOO qualify for IEM Beijing as FlyQuest are forced to forfeit

TYLOO have secured a spot at IEM Beijing 2026 after FlyQuest had to forfeit the grand final because of physical damage to the connection between Australia and Singapore.

"Unfortunately, our grand final match will not be played," FlyQuest posted on X. "The physical connection between Australia and Singapore is damaged resulting in ping that is unplayable (200ms+). The venue has multiple redundant ISP’s, but this issue is affecting all traffic from Australia to Asia. With TYLOO attending FISSURE tomorrow, there is no avenue to reschedule."

The grand final was the second forfeit TYLOO were on the winning side of, as they proceeded through the upper bracket final because Rare Atom had to pull out due to a scheduling conflict with the FPG 3 qualifier.

Before those two forfeited matches, TYLOO had beaten Kaleido and DEPO in the first rounds of the closed qualifier.

TYLOO's qualification to the event in their home country settles 14 of the 16 attending teams, with the two last spots remaining in the Closed Qualifier being played online in Europe.

The team list for IEM Beijing is:

  • Falcons
  • FURIA
  • MOUZ
  • Legacy
  • Natus Vincere
  • G2
  • Aurora
  • 9z
  • FaZe
  • The MongolZ
  • BETBOOM
  • PARIVISION
