The team list for PGL Masters Bucharest has been set following the conclusion of regional qualifiers in Europe, South America, North America, and Asia, which saw Nemiga, DENDELE, Liquid, and TYLOO earn the final spots at the $1,250,000 event.
Nemiga went undefeated through the Europe qualifier with wins over Inner Circle, SINNERS, 1win, and B8, dropping just one map in that run and sweeping B8 3-0 in the final to secure their spot.
DENDELE also advanced undefeated in South America by beating Turma do Pagode, Imperial, and Fluxo (twice), while Liquid struggled in North America with a narrow win over Marsborne in the upper semis before being dropped to the consolidation final by NRG.
Johnny "JT" Theodosiou's men then reverse-swept Voca before recovering from a 1-2 series deficit to NRG, nearly squandering a 10-2 lead on Mirage before closing out the map and taking over on the Inferno decider.
TYLOO, meanwhile, romped past DEPO in the Asia grand final, with the latter eliminating FlyQuest in third place before falling short.
PGL Masters Bucharest is scheduled for October 24-31 and will be a crucial event for teams looking to qualify for cement their invites for PGL Major Singapore ahead of the November 2 VRS invite cut-off.
