Ninjas in Pyjamas have won 1win Private Club S1 by defeating GamerLegion in the best-of-five grand final (Ancient 19-17, Nuke 14-16, Cache 13-6, Mirage 13-9).
The trophy marks Ninjas in Pyjamas' first under Karim "Krimbo" Moussa's leadership after the German rifler took over the reins from Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer at the start of September.
The German had a fantastic tournament overall, averaging the highest rating on the team (1.18), dead even with Kacper "xKacpersky" Gabara (1.18), while Ninjas in Pyjamas had the highest T-side round win percentage at the event at 57.5%.
In the final, however, it was Martin "stavn" Lund who was the standout performer for his team, particularly impressing in Ninjas in Pyjamas' dominant Cache victory (1.84 map rating).
In terms of the all-important VRS race, both grand finalists were unsurprisingly the biggest winners of the event.
Ninjas in Pyjamas's victory propels them to No. 27 in the standings, just behind GamerLegion at No. 26, who also rose 13 spots thanks to their performance.
On the other side of the coin, both EYEBALLERS and Alliance suffered costly last-place exits and dropped five and six places, respectively.
