Former Fluxo and RED Canids AWPer Allan "history" Lawrenz will join 9z's lineup for the Singapore Major as a substitute, replacing Ignacio "meyern" Meyer, according to Dust2 Brasil.
9z reportedly turned to the Brazilian after failing to come to an agreement with ShindeN over the signing of benched AWPer Ivan "ivz" Quintana.
The change comes amid a run of poor form for 9z since a quarter-final appearance at the IEM Cologne Major and a title run at XSE Pro League Guangzhou. The team is currently on a seven-match losing streak, prompting head coach Bruno "BIT" Fukuda Lima to admit they were "lucky" to have qualified for the Singapore Major, where they will begin their campaign in Stage 1.
meyern has been on 9z's roster since November 2025, when he replaced Guilherme "levi" Gustavo in the starting lineup shortly after transitioning to AWPing. He has averaged a 0.98 rating on LAN this year.
9z have submitted the following lineup for the Major:
Maximiliano "max" Gonzalez
Franco "dgt" Garcia
Ignacio "meyern" Meyer
Luciano "luchov" Herrera
Matias "HUASOPEEK" Ibañez Hernandez
