The Stake Ranked Episode 5 closed qualifier came to an end with Eternal Fire and Nemesis securing their spots at the LAN main event.
The Gareth "MisteM" Ries-led squad battled through WBT, Nuclear TigeRES, and K27 to qualify, while Nemesis won out the other side of the bracket with victories against Rune Eaters, Sashi, and fnatic.
While both qualified teams are outside the projected invites for the Major, Nemesis and Eternal Fire still have an outside shot at securing a ticket to Singapore.
Stake Ranked Episode 5 will be played from October 27-30, which means it could prove crucial in the run for VRS points ahead of the November 2 invite cut-off.
The tournament features a $100,000 prize pool, with Astralis, MIBR, and B8 also among the attendees.
