Official: FUT bench lauNX

The Romanian teased his next move saying "both sides will have a lot to gain."

FUT have confirmed the benching of Laurențiu "⁠lauNX⁠" Țârlea in a statement on X, bringing an end to the Romanian's year-long tenure with the Turkish organization.

The announcement comes following an HLTV report that revealed the Romanian asked FUT to explore his options in the lead-up to the IEM Cologne Major.

Since then, rumors have linked the 21-year-old with HEROIC, who would be expected to trade Yasin "⁠xfl0ud⁠" Koç to FUT in return.

lauNX did not specify what his future holds, but hinted on X that it has already been determined.

"Not much can be said about what's coming next, but I can only say one thing. I have learned in life that sometimes it's good to let things go in order to have better growth, and I feel that from my next move, both sides will have a lot to gain," he said.

"I have always looked towards harder challenges while trying to gain even more experience not only in my career but also real life. So don't worry because my screams won't go anywhere, and if anything, they will get louder. MORE INFO SOON."

In his year with FUT, where he joined a former NAVI Junior quartet as a replacement for Drin "⁠makazze⁠" Shaqiri, lauNX made a name for himself in and out of the game.

His loud cheers and volatile playstyle complemented the aggressive FUT squad well, and he averaged a 1.10 rating as the team's Opener, leading from the front while they quickly rose to prominence as a regular tier-one fixture since the beginning of 2026.

Their biggest achievement came in the form of a PGL Bucharest title, where lauNX earned his first and only HLTV Exceptionally Valuable Player award.
