MOUZ are the IEM Beijing champions after defeating The MongolZ in a one-sided grand final (Mirage 13-5, Dust2 13-6, Inferno 13-4) to secure their second trophy of 2026 following their BLAST Bounty win in August.
"If anyone worked for it and deserved it, it's us," Dennis "sycrone" Nielsen said in a post-match interview on stage.
The victory means that MOUZ join an elite group of teams that have won a Big Event without losing a map, as they defeated TYLOO, BETBOOM (twice), PARIVISION and The MongolZ in flawless fashion.
The final started on Mirage, where The MongolZ had a solid start and took an early lead. They had MOUZ's economy under control, but an overpeek by Anarbileg "cobrazera" Uuganbayar let MOUZ into the B site, and Dorian "xertioN" Berman's men never looked back.
They won 10 of the next 11 rounds to cruise to a 13-5 victory, with xertioN leading the scoreboard for his squad.
The MongolZ's surprise Dust2 pick followed much the same storyline, as Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch's AWP kept his team in the game early on before MOUZ took over. A flawless seven-round streak on the offense gave them another dominant 13-6 victory and put them one map away from the trophy.
Inferno was the third map on the menu, and MOUZ continued their dominance to open with a 9-3 offensive half. Unsurprisingly, that was more than enough for the international squad to secure the title, closing out the map with a 13-4 scoreline and winning their second trophy of 2026.
