Dust2 is off comically. Álvaro "SunPayus" García was left in a 1v3 afterplant situation on B, but couldn't materialize the clutch despite killing Nikita "robo" Dushin for free as he jumped around, following it up with a burst-fire headshot to bring it to a 1v1 before going down.
Nemiga nearly threw a round in their favor as Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin and Beksultan "khaN" Ospan swung Heaven and died instantly, but Daniel "syph0" Ageyev brought it back with a double to keep the comeback alive.
Nemiga won the pistol round on their map pick, but couldn't break through in the second round against pistols as Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç took down the Daniel "syph0" Ageyev planting the bomb with the clock ticked down, and FUT secured the crucial second-round forcebuy.
The field has been culled to eight teams, who will take the stage today at the PGL studio in Bucharest in the quarter-finals.
The day kicks off with FUT, whose Álvaro "SunPayus" García has been looking as good as ever, taking on Nemiga, followed by the Dan "apEX" Madesclaire-less Vitality going up against Natus Vincere.
The second half of the day will feature Aurora vs. MOUZ before the last game of the day, BETBOOM vs. FURIA.
