Legacy's success in the Far East is interwined with that of star rifler Bruno "latto" Rebelatto.
The 23-year-old has three MVP medals, all coming in China, and when that is added to two Big Event EVPs latto is making 2026 a year to remember.
He was simply excellent in the grand final, with a 2.25-rated Dust2 putting the final touch on an already stellar event.
With a 1.45 rating in playoffs, 138 in map wins, and 1.05 KPRW overall, there was no chance of anyone else leaving Suzhou with the medal.

Guy "NertZ" Iluz
NertZ hasn't been an EVP since IEM Rio 2024, but he was a revelation at FPG with a map at or above a 1.30 rating in all seven of G2's matches.
He averaged a 1.22 in playoffs, including a 1.23 in the grand final (with 107 ADR) when no other teammate exceeded 1.01.
If you saw his map list on an MVP graphic, it would not be unbelievable. He also managed to pair 89.9 ADR overall with 84% of maps being above the 1.00 rating, which underlines his consistency further.
Rookie of the year in 2023, NertZ did not kick on as he might have expected after leaving ENCE but at FPG 3 a corner might just have been turned.
Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira
Dutiful anchor n1ssim benched himself in the summer, but returned to the lineup after Legacy failed to replace him and has continued chugging along as a supportive element.
But as he proved at CAC in 2025, and three more times when we made him Anchor in the All-Star lineup of PGL Masters, EWC, and CAC 2026, he does have strong fragging potential too.
Before the final, n1ssim was right up there with latto despite having far fewer resources, well and truly in the MVP race.
And while that did not materialize, his peaks against G2, MIBR, and FURIA alongside a solid 83.3 ADR and 1.20 rating by the end of the event granted him a strong EVP.
Lucas "nqz" Soares
nqz, like NertZ, has had a long wait between EVPs but he has followed up his Austin nod with one here as he impressed during MIBR's run to top-four.
Ending with a 1.21 rating, nqz topped the scoreboard in a third of MIBR's maps, had three player of the maps with a 1.25 playoff rating, and posted +13.5% swing in round wins.
The Inferno decider against Legacy put a dampener on such a strong event, but his EVP was not in doubt regardless.
Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko
HeavyGod went on a streak of nine maps above a 1.08 rating in G2's run from the lower bracket to the semi-finals, and when you include his 1.71-rated decider against BETBOOM he had five player of the map performances.
His map win rating was 1.30, the same as MVP contender NertZ, and had he been as good on CT side (0.97) as T (1.23) HeavyGod might have been even higher up the list.
That, as well as his overall event rating of 1.10, tells a tale of some inconsistency along the way, with six poor maps putting a dent on his case. But the Israeli did more than enough to add a second EVP of the year after winning his first at the Cologne Major.
Felipe "insani" Yuji
Finally, MIBR's star man insani joins the list having posted a 1.33 rating in map wins and 1.09 KPRW en route to a top-four finish.
He struggled at the end of the semi-final against Legacy, but stood out so much beforehand that his EVP was confirmed in the quarter-final against Alliance.
insani's first EVP of the year came at CAC, so like latto he is enjoying some good fortune in China's medium-tier events as MIBR try and put their star in contention for the year-end Top 20.

Honorable mentions
Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer and Santino "try" Rigal both fell just short of EVPs, neither standing out in playoffs or map wins enough to join their teammates in the list.
Kirill "Magnojez" Rodnov and Daniil "d1Ledez" Kustov did well for BETBOOM as they topped their group, but both needed more in the semi-final to convert that credit into a nod.
Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato was close to an EVP after several standout maps but needed just a smidge more after a slow start (0.96 vs GamerLegion) and finish (0.78 map two vs G2).
Danil "molodoy" Golubenko was just behind him, but was far worse against top 10 teams to leave quite a distance between himself and the EVP line.
Svyatoslav "MaSvAl" Masko and Nikita "tenzy" Kochenyuk looked good for magic, but not good enough for group stage nods.
Anarbileg "cobrazera" Uuganbayar managed a 1.34 rating on his return to The MongolZ's lineup, even as the team floundered around him.
Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, Love "phzy" Smidebrant, and Yi "JamYoung" Yang also deserve a shoutout for their work in groups despite a lack of team success.
All-Star
latto, Andrei "arT" Piovezan, and n1ssim saunter into our all-star lineup for their role in Legacy's triumph, which means no room for HeavyGod.
For opener, NertZ is far above insani to take that spot, which leaves just the AWPer.
try and molodoy competed, but there was only one EVP-worthy sniper and that was nqz.
