The team list for PGL Bucharest 2027 is complete following the conclusion of the European closed qualifier, with BBL and Betclic successfully battling through the eight-team tournament to claim their Bucharest berths.
Thanks to their efforts the two squads join a stacked list of teams in Bucharest, which features all of the current top 10, from January 17-24 to fight for their share of a $1,000,000 prize pool.
BBL ran through the upper bracket to win the qualifier outright by taking down EYEBALLERS, ex-RUSTEC and Betclic, earning an early achievement after the recent addition of Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen mere days ago.
Betclic meanwhile took out Eternal Fire and Nemesis, before bouncing back from an upper final loss against BBL to defeat Nemesis for a second time.
For BBL this success earns them their first notable event appearance since signing for the organization at the end of August, the Danish squad making the move after Tricked went under. Betclic have not attended a notable event since qualifying for PGL Bucharest 2025, back when the team featured the likes of Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski and Milan "hypex" Polowiec.
Elsewhere in the qualifier GamerLegion's shaky run of form continued, the European combine following up their failure in the 1win Private Club S2 qualifier with another disappointing showing.
