Legacy's tumble down the rankings since Andrei "arT" Piovezan's enforced absence with meningitis has continued after a last-place exit from IEM Beijing.
The Brazilians hit number two on the VRS in September after winning FPG3, but since ESL Pro League they possess a 3-10 record in series. The three wins came over ShindeN, PARIVISION, and DENDELE, and it's now four lost matches in a row.
Italo "ksloks" Meinberg, who replaced Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira before this event, had a middling debut with a 1.03 rating and four maps below a 0.87 rating out of six.
Santino "try" Rigal's form has suffered in this period like the rest of Legacy, but no blame can be laid at his door this time after a 27-12 K-D on Dust2 and 20 more frags on Mirage. Even this 1v4 could not help Legacy take the win on that first map.
B8, meanwhile, deserve credit for beating what was in front of them, bouncing back from missing the Major with Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi in superstar form.
The former Natus Vincere youngster was just behind try on map one with 25 frags, and their head-to-head continued on Mirage with five openers, a 1v2 and this brilliant quad-kill.
Legacy won two editions of CS Asia Championships and FISSURE Playground 3 in China, but their good luck in the Far East appears to have run out.
B8 now go on to play regional big brothers Natus Vincere in the next round of the lower bracket.
