FaZe won the Roman Imperium Cup IX on Saturday after a 2-0 thrashing of NAVI Junior, moving up 14 places in the global VRS to 16th.
Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken's charges now have a 71.8% chance of qualifying for PGL Major Singapore, according to HLTV's latest projections. They will attend two more LAN events before the November 2 invite cutoff: DraculaN Season 7 (October 19-23) in Bucharest, and RLG Tesla Cup (October 27-29) in Belgrade.
It was FaZe’s first LAN title since IEM Chengdu 2024, with David "frozen" Čerňanský the sole member left from that squad. Their previous LAN final, at HLC Belgrade PRO 2026, ended in a loss to BIG that cost them a place at the IEM Cologne Major.
FaZe capped their Roman Imperium Cup IX run with a one-sided series in which they conceded only four rounds. The campaign was far from straightforward, though, as they had to recover from a map down against Sangal in the opening round and again against NAVI Junior in the upper bracket final, where the decider went to overtime.
