Official: Legacy sign try

The Argentine sniper replaces saadzin on the team's roster.

Legacy have announced the signing of Santino "⁠try⁠" Rigal from Imperial, confirming the move after it was first reported by Dust2.com.br on June 26.

The move reunites try with Eduardo "⁠dumau⁠" Wolkmer and Bruno "⁠latto⁠" Rebelatto, whom he played with in 00NATION and competed at IEM Rio Major 2022.

The 21-year-old sniper takes the spot vacated by Guilherme "⁠saadzin⁠" Pacheco, who was traded to Imperial as part of the deal.

The move completes Legacy's roster for the season after they were previously linked with interest in Felipe "⁠insani⁠" Yuji and Tomas "⁠tomaszin⁠" Corna after Vinicius "⁠n1ssim⁠" Pereira requested a move to the bench after the IEM Cologne Major. The former chose to remain with MIBR until the end of the year, and talks for the latter were halted after n1ssim decided to return to the active lineup.

try joins Legacy after a multi-month loan spell with Passion UA, where he averaged a 1.09 rating amidst a multitude of struggles for the now-defunct lineup. Before that, he averaged a 1.19 rating during his 18-month stint in Imperial, and will hope to find that form again as he returns to speaking Portuguese with Legacy.

His debut will come at Esports World Cup, which is scheduled to run from August 12-23.
