Vitality were in top form as they demolished PARIVISION in the ESL Pro League Season 24 quarter-final with a 2-0 scoreline (Inferno 13-2, Dust2 13-10).
Shahar "flameZ" Shushan and company now move to the semi-final, where they will face Aurora, who breezed past 1win earlier on Friday.
The series began on Inferno, where the teams were embroiled in force-buy wars early on. Vitality prevailed and took a 3-2 lead after breaking PARIVISION's economy, which opened the floodgates.
A streak of eleven straight rounds gave Vitality an incredibly one-sided 13-2 victory, during which PARIVISION totaled 21 kills across the team, while flameZ and William "mezii" Merriman both finished the map with 2.00+ ratings.
Dust2 began in similar fashion to the opener, with Vitality running away to a 6-0 lead, but PARIVISION began showing some signs of life at the end of the half.
Vladislav "xiELO" Lysov, who was his team's shining light throughout, found some crucial openings and multi-kills to start PARIVISION's comeback, with Abay "HObbit" Khassenov's 1vs2 reducing the deficit to two.
Still, Vitality weathered the storm before Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut took matters into his own hands with an aggressive 3k to win the map 13-10.
