PGL has announced the 12 invited teams for PGL Masters Bucharest, which is scheduled to run from October 24-31 in Bucharest, Romania and concludes just before the November 2 VRS invite cut-off for the PGL Singapore Major.
Falcons were the only top team, based on the July 6 VRS, to not accept an invite, allowing The MongolZ in 13th to snag the final spot.
That leaves the $1,250,000 studio event with a stacked field of teams, including Spirit, Vitality, Natus Vincere, FURIA, G2, and reigning PGL Masters Bucharest champions Aurora, who will defend their crown with an international lineup after pulling the trigger on changes during the off-season.

BetBoom and 9z also earned invites after their run to the quarter-finals at the IEM Cologne Major, while last year's runner-ups, Legacy, will be looking for redemption with a tweaked roster featuring Santino "try" Rigal instead of Guilherme "saadzin" Pacheco.
The final four spots at the event will go to the winners of four regional qualifiers across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, which will play out in the second week of September. The tournament will utilize a Swiss group stage to send eight teams to a single-elimination playoff bracket, and culminate in a best-of-five grand final.
The team list for the event now looks as follows:
- Vitality
- Spirit
- FURIA
- Natus Vincere
- 9z
- Aurora
- G2
- BetBoom
- MOUZ
- Legacy
- FUT
